How would you feel if u weren t given a chance of life and someone decided to just give you up and kill you? Approximately 125,000 abortions occur per day. 1.1 million U.S. abortions each year. Nearly 1 in 4 (22%) of pregnancies end in abortion. 50% of women now seeking abortion have had at least one previous abortion. The U.S. abortion rate is among the highest of developed countries. 51% of abortions are performed on women less than 25 years of age. Approximately 1/3 of American women have had an abortion by age 45. Abortion disproportionately affects black and Hispanic women. (Alan Guttmacher Institute). When it comes to abortion it is one of the most important issues in the world. Some people believe that abortion is sinful becauseâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦A baby s life begins at conception and it takes away an innocent person s life. Babies shouldn t have to go through this situation just because they can t speak. One study found that ââ¬Å"science teaches that life begins at fertilization.â⬠( Terzo). The unborn child is not even able to see what life is like. A infant hasn t did anything wrong to be treated in this such act. They don t even have the time to make a mistake or make a decision. It is a law not to murder/kill but apparently not because abortion is a murder. The other reason i m against abortion is because you are going against Christians and what God said. The bible tells us that abortion is bad. According to the Commandments in the Old Testament, it says Thou shalt not kill (Exodus 20:13). This involves guiltless infant babies. When a baby is conceived, God. already knows what is happening. God is the only one to decide when and how a person should die. Which you should not be aborting a child. God makes the choices you don t, especially when it comes to something he doesn t agree on. God gives us life. In Job 1:21 it says ââ¬Å"The Lord Gave, and the Lord has taken away.â⬠He dictates everything and we choose what is right and what is wrong. A child is a person. A person who goes through growth inside and out the wound is a most definitely a person.
